Intern-Independent by Design Residential Coordinator

The Independent by Design (IBD) program uses a combination of staff support and assistive technology to help clients live independently while maintaining their safety and helping them meet their goals.

The Independent by Design Residential Coordinator Intern assists with performing the duties of a Residential Coordinator. Provides professional, client-centered support to the individuals with disabilities in accordance with the State Consolidates Rule 245D and CRS (Community Residential Setting) licensing guidelines.

Qualifications

Must be highly motivated, take initiative, have strong desire to learn, and want to help others. Dependability and reliability required. Must have good communication skills as exhibited by articulating thoughts clearly. Must show a positive attitude. Must be detail oriented. Must be able to adapt to changing situations. Must work well with others. Maintaining confidentiality is essential.

Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, car insurance and clean driving record. Commitment to a minimum of 440 hours per semester preferred.

• 40 hours per week
• Flexible Monday-Friday 8 A.M.-5 P.M.
